At Genese Foundation, our faith is based on the fact that we are children of God. We believe that we are children of God because the Holy Spirit lives in us. We emulate Jesus, the Lord, the unique model in our daily lives. We do not follow the law of the Old Testament, but we believe in the achievements of Jesus who opened for each one of us a new era, that of grace. We believe that we can know God through Jesus.
The three fundamentals principles of Genese Foundation are as follow:
When you commit your lives to Jesus, you become Child of God, and you are not servant of God. Being a child of God includes for example that:
You have the Holy Spirit in you,
You have the same nature as God, your Father
You are co-heir of Jesus,
You can communicate with God, your Father, in order to build an intimate relationship with Him.
Because you are child of God, you are no more a sinner because Jesus has taken away from you the roots of sin, forever. In your relationship with God, sin is no more an issue because it is impossible for you to sin while in Him. You are justified by grace, and not because of your good deeds, done with the aim of obeying to any law (including the Ten Commandments). You are called to learn and grow in how to live in your new identity. You learn to dominate the flesh and grow to fully master it. You rely and take advantage of everything God gives you by grace, to serve as capabilities and resources.
The Old Covenant and the Old Testament are no more your reality and do not concern you any longer. Today, children of God are in the New Covenant, that one characterizing the era of grace opened by Jesus-Christ.
